Conditions of Sale (non trade)

The shopping facility provided by is owned and operated by Days Healthcare in association with its Centre of Excellence retail network. Goods are offered for sale on subject to stock availability.

To ensure you enjoy a high level of local customer service, you will be required to select a Centre of Excellence retail outlet prior to proceeding to the checkout. That retail outlet will be responsible for all after sales service (apart from delivery – see below) associated with purchases assigned to it and within a reasonable geographic distance to it.

Centre of Excellence retailers have been carefully selected by Days Healthcare for their excellence in the delivery of independent living solutions to their locality. You can find out more about this special retail network here.

2. Before making a purchase

We always recommend that you seek an assessment to ensure you purchase the right product for your personal circumstances. Our Centres of Excellence will be able to offer excellent advice and trials on much of our range.

3. Selecting an appropriate after sales provider

It is your responsibility to select the most suitable Centre of Excellence retailer near to you or near to the intended user.

Upon completion of your purchase you will receive an email to confirm the purchase and contact details for your chosen Centre of Excellence retailer. All communication relating to your purchase should be directed to that retailer.

4. Purchase price and VAT exemption

Prices on vary from time to time, so those paid on previous occasions or those displayed on previous visits to the website may no longer be valid. You should carefully check the price at the checkout before completing any subsequent purchase.

Prices and promotions on may vary from those in the retailer’s premises, on the retailer’s own website or in the retailer’s promotional material and advertising.

Many items on display a ‘VAT exempt’ icon. These products or services are classed as medical devices and, as such, may be subject to VAT exemption if you or the intended user has a long-term illness or are disabled. We accept payments made by Visa and Mastercard. We do not accept American Express & Visa Electron. All credit and debit card payments are subject to validation checks and authorisation using the secure service. Your order will only be confirmed once this check is complete and approved.

6. Delivery

We aim to dispatch your order within 24 hours. We aim to deliver your order within 72 hours.

Purchases through can only be delivered within the United Kingdom by Royal Mail/DHL. The following delivery charges will be added to your order.

  • Orders under £9.99 are charged at £2.24 (inc VAT)
  • Orders of £10.00 and Over charged at £4.94 (inc VAT)

These charges cover order processing, packaging, handling, insurance and delivery costs (UK wide coverage).

Most items purchased through this website will be despatched by Days Healthcare from our warehouse in Bridgend, South Wales to the delivery address provided by you at the time of purchase

It is your responsibility to ensure you choose a delivery address where you, or other able and authorised individuals acting on your behalf, are available to receive and sign for the goods delivered by our courier. We deliver to the United Kingdom only and aim, subject to stock availability, to despatch from our premises within 2 working days with delivery normally taking place within 3 working days thereafter. Delivery to the Scottish Highlands, islands and other remote areas may take longer. We use a number of professional couriers and delivery organisations and select the most appropriate for the goods purchased.

Some products may instead be delivered by the Centre of Excellence retailer selected by you at the time of purchase.

Please note that some items are very heavy and may need more than one person to safely lift them. Our couriers will only deliver the goods to your door; they cannot take them into your home. Also, some items require assembly. You need to take these things into account when agreeing to purchase goods from this website. If you are unsure, please contact your local Centre of Excellence retailer.

7. Returns

Most purchases made on-line are subject to special distance selling rules providing you with a statutory cooling-off period of seven working days after delivery. Should you decide to change your mind during this period, you should contact the retailer detailed on your purchase confirmation who will make appropriate arrangements subject to the terms detailed below.

You must take care of the goods whilst they are in your possession, and either return them or make them available for collection by the retailer. The retailer may charge you the cost of collecting the goods or you may have to pay the return postage - unless the goods were faulty in the first place.

Goods not covered by the seven day cooling-off period are:

  • Gift vouchers
  • Services provided before the seven day cooling off period has expired such as chargeable delivery or installation services.
  • Items for sanitary purposes, such as Commodes, if the product has been used.

8. Faulty goods

Should the goods be faulty upon delivery or the goods become faulty as a result of defective design, workmanship or materials in manufacture within the warranty period, please contact the Centre of Excellence retailer detailed on your purchase confirmation who will make appropriate arrangements to repair or replace the goods.

All products on have a 12 month warranty unless otherwise stated.

These warranty arrangements are in addition to your statutory rights.
